Press Release: Roberts elected Vice President of the NCPMA

Durham, NC – The VP and General Manager of Rid-A-Bug Exterminating, Marty L. Roberts from Wilkes County, NC was elected to the position of Vice President of the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) during their 70th annual Pest Control Technician School in January 2020. Roberts’ one-year term will begin in July 2020 and end June 2021.

“The NCPMA has helped my company grow through access to research, education, resources, and relationships,” said Roberts, who is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the NCPMA Board of Directors, “I am proud to serve the association in this capacity and I look forward to helping it and its members continue to serve pest management professionals and property owners throughout North Carolina.”

With pest management professionals from North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia, the Pest Control Technician School is the largest training meeting of its kind in North America. Throughout the event, attendees were introduced to the latest technical advancements, industry techniques, and new innovative pest control products. This year’s event was held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, NC.

Representing pest control professionals throughout North Carolina, the NCPMA serves to advance their education and continued success throughout North Carolina. The NCPMA boasts in nearly 300 member companies. Since its founding in 1952, the NCPMA has been the only statewide association of pest management professionals.
