Bed bugs are a persistent problem that can cause significant distress and discomfort. These tiny, elusive pests are known for their ability to hide in the smallest of crevices and their rapid reproduction rate.

Traditional methods of extermination, such as chemical treatments, have been used for years, but they often come with drawbacks. This has led to an increasing interest in alternative methods, such as heat treatments. But the question remains: Are bed bug heat treatments effective?

If you have ever encountered an underground hornet's nest, you know how alarming they can be. Not only can they be surprising, but they can cause safety issues for you and your family. This is especially true if you have small children.

While underground hornet nests can be extremely problematic, with the right strategies and understanding, you can safely remove the threat they pose. This is especially true when you engage with a pest control company that utilizes eco-friendly pest control practices.

While important to the environment, and fascinating, wasps are a frustrating part of life. Not only are wasp stings painful, but in some cases, they can cause issues for young children, the elderly, or those who are allergic to wasp stings.

With the warmer weather, more people are spending time in the great outdoors, exploring and enjoying the wonder that nature has to offer. From long hikes along the Blue Ridge mountains to short runs through your neighborhood, the outdoors is calling, and we all must go.

While it may be time to begin spending more time outdoors, ticks and mosquitoes will also be enjoying the opportunity to get out of their nests and feed on unsuspected humans. These obnoxious pests are not only frustrating but can carry diseases that can cause serious problems in humans and pets.

With that said, finding ways to prevent ticks and mosquitoes is imperative to having an enjoyable spring and summer season outside. One of the most well-known ways to prevent ticks and mosquitoes is DEET.
